Spring is finally here, and our mornings are starting to feel lighter, warmer, and full of fresh energy. I love these quiet, sunlit hours with my toddler—baking, sipping coffee, and letting her explore while I enjoy a little calm for myself. Here’s a peek into our spring mornings.

Healthy Spring Smoothies:

We start many mornings with smoothies packed with fruits, greens, yogurt, oats, and a little peanut butter for protein. She loves sharing mine, and it’s a great way to get her veggies and fruit first thing. Some of our favorites include:

Banana, spinach, yogurt, oats, and milk Strawberry, pineapple, banana, and a touch of honey Blueberry, peanut butter, and milk

Morning Activities:

After breakfast, we spend time outside if the weather allows. She helps me water the plants, checks the garden, and sometimes turns on the sprinklers for the grass. Even small water play is fun for her—it’s spring, not summer yet, so just a splash here and there.

Indoors, we continue our morning basket routine with little books, toys, or art activities. She loves watching spring-themed cartoons, like Guess How Much I Love You, and points at everything asking what it is. While she’s exploring, I sip coffee in the sun, do a bit of reading, or prepare for the day ahead.

Banana Bread:

Baking is a morning favorite. Banana bread fills the house with warmth and is something we both enjoy. She helps a little, tastes a lot, and it’s a perfect spring treat.

Closing Thoughts:

Spring mornings are my favorite—balanced between gentle routines, fresh air, and connecting with my toddler. Every day is different, but these little rituals make our mornings joyful, cozy, and full of memories.
