A Little Moment in the Park

We went to Michael’s to grab more scrapbooking supplies and then decided to soak in the beautiful day at the park for a few minutes. As we wandered, I noticed the cattle grazing nearby and just had to show Aubrey. Her eyes lit up, and I felt this quiet joy in watching her curiosity bloom. It was one of those simple moments that reminds me why slowing down—even for just a few minutes—matters so much.

What Motherhood Has Felt Like Lately

Motherhood lately has been teaching me patience in ways I didn’t expect. I’ve been surprised by how much I can actually handle, even on the exhausting days. It’s changed me—I feel like I’ve had to lean on God more than ever. I’ve realized that everything I do for Aubrey, even the little everyday things, is a way of serving Him. Accepting His grace has been key to finding real peace in the midst of the chaos.

This season has shifted my mindset: life isn’t just about “getting through,” it’s about embracing the moments with intention and relying on God’s strength. Focusing on grace has helped me experience peace I didn’t think was possible while juggling everything motherhood throws my way. Even in the tired, solo moments, I know He is with me.

A Message to Other Moms

To all the moms who might be feeling alone, stretched thin, or without a big support system: we can do this. Lean on God. Enjoy your little one. Cherish the tiny, playful moments. Even when the days are long, the memories we’re making are worth every bit of effort.

Aubrey Right Now

Aubrey is sassy, sweet, and full of life. She’s talking more every day, asking for kisses with a dramatic “mmmmmaaaaa” sound that makes me laugh every time. She dances like she owns the world, and I can’t help but join in. These little quirks, her curiosity and joy, are what make motherhood feel magical.
